Spotlight On: Suzie McNeil

For those of you out there who love Pink and Kelly Clarkson you will love this little lady. She goes by the name of Suzie McNeil and she is smoking! In 2005, Suzie took part in the CBS reality show 'RockStar:INXS' a competition in which the winner would become the new lead singer for the band INXS. She made it to the final four of the competition and was the last female singer to be eliminated. She had a huge following from the show and after she went on to do a sell out tour and then she started to make her own music. Releasing some singles in 2006 and her debut album in 2007.

She has a cool rock chick style and look and her music pretty damn good. Her voice reminds me of a cross of Pink and Kelly Clarkson (hence the earlier reference!) and they both have fantastic voices as I’m sure you’ll agree so if you like them check her out.

Not only that though her songs are full of attitude and that’s the kind of music I like. The kind that can make you confident and fills you with a sense of energy and that’s what she does so perfectly! The majority of her songs are fast paced and kick ass. My faves include Help Me Out, Let’s Go, Hung Up, Fast Lane, Broken & Beautiful and the single Supergirl. I’m more fond of the Rock-N-Roller Album as it’s more fast paced but the Broken & Beautiful album is also good and it shows another, more vulnerable, softer side of this rocker! Check Her Out!!
